intro

Coffey & Nichols’ practice is limited to representing the victims of ordinary and professional negligence and product defect. The origins of the firm, established in 1996, came out of a dissatisfaction with bigger firms where paralegals do most of the work. Coffey & Nichols limits the number of cases it takes so that the cases can be handled primarily by the attorneys. Attorney Mary Coffey has been a trial lawyer on behalf of injured people since 1983 and has been a leader of the firm since she established it in 1996. Attorney Genevieve Nichols has been a lawyer since 1999, and began trying cases for injured people when she joined the firm in 2001 and became a partner in 2008. Attorney Callan Moench has been a trial lawyer since 2012, and started representing injured people when she joined the firm in 2021. Kathy Eckhard is our office manager and paralegal, and Shannon Kreader, a former client, is a paralegal. The office is located in an historic building in the Clifton Park neighborhood of St. Louis City and accepts a limited number of cases.
